2018 Spring Concert

The Birmingham Suzuki Violinists presented their Spring Concert at Dorothy Jemison Day Theater, Alabama School of Fine Arts, on March 11, 2008. This year had a number of exceptional classical violin repertoire soloists, as well as new young talent, the “Fiddle Face” band, and a focus on American Music, which included everything from the Quaker hymn “Simple Gifts, to “Orange Blossom Special,” to “We Shall Overcome.” At the same time that we celebrate our talented violinists, we are equally proud of our young pianists, who also contributed to the program. This year we were also able to feature the electric mandolin on a powerful Sarabande by Bohm. The audience enjoyed the program. Additionally, you may find some of the performances featured as video on Youtube. Another great performance sponsored by Birmingham Suzuki Violin Association.
